The Tax Foundation is hosting an event in Washington D.C. this week called “Talking Tax Reform, an International Perspective: What the Experiences of Other Countries Can Teach Us.”
Here are the details:
Date: October 6th, 2017
Time: 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 215, Washington, DC 20002
As U.S. legislators move forward with a comprehensive overhaul of our tax code, we thought it would be useful to get the perspective of the international policy community.
For this special Talking Tax Reform panel, we have assembled representatives from countries that have recently undergone major tax reform efforts. Each panelist will share their country’s experiences in order to inform current U.S. legislators of how best to achieve successful and lasting tax reform.
Panelists will include:
- Johan Rydberg, Counselor of Trade and Economic Affairs, Swedish Embassy
- Ana Fernández-Daza, Counselor of Finance, Spanish Embassy
- Benedict Wagner-Rundell, First Secretary of Economics, British Embassy
Tax Foundation President Scott Hodge will moderate.
